We have around 60 lawyers and support staff in attractive and listed Victorian and Georgian office premises in the very heart of Norwich. We are primarily a private client practice, with commercial expertise suited to the needs of the sole trader, family and owner managed business.

As a private client practice we cover a broad range of legal services which relate to the individual, such as residential property, tax, trust, estates and inheritance issues, family and children law, personal injury, employment and housing. Any of these areas may at some time or another in your life require specialist legal advice. We have membership of the Law Society's Family, Children and Personal Injury Panels as well as STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), RESOLUTION, the Solicitors Family Law Association and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Our commercial lawyers deal with business property transactions, company formations, mergers, acquisitions, partnership, commercial agreements and contractual disputes.

Sydney Cozens-Hardy founded the firm in 1873. In 1876 he went on to purchase the site in central Norwich, from which the firm continues to practice today.

The firm has grown steadily over the decades, without sacrificing its core principles of honesty, integrity and high standards of service to its clients.
