Alistair was educated at Norwich School and studied law at Reading University and Guildford Law School. He joined Cozens-Hardy in 1978 as a trainee solicitor, qualifying in 1980 and becoming a principal in 1984.

Alistair’s particular areas of expertise are capital tax planning, trusts, charities, partnerships (particularly farm partnerships) and complex or disputed estates.

Interests

"I'm really passionate about my family, cycling, rowing and fishing. I have many dislikes, namely politics, nationalism, the Football World Cup (in fact any World Cup), European Football Championships – oh, and bootlace eels (evil things...)"
