Iain studied law at Liverpool University and qualified as a solicitor in 1977, becoming a principal in 1985. For his professional expertise and his understanding of the real needs of his clients, Iain has received recognition from his peers in Chambers Directory as a leading practitioner of family law in East Anglia.

An original member of the Law Society's Children Panel, he is also a member of the Family Law Panel and RESOLUTION. Iain specialises in child care work and financial provision on divorce and separation.
