Status as a Limited Liability Partnership
Cozens-Hardy LLP is a limited liability partnership with registered number OC325430 formed and operated in accordance with the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000. The registered office is at Castle Chambers Opie Street Norwich NR1 3DP. Our VAT number is 104 6481 90.
Where we refer to a 'Partner' or 'Principal' it is referring to a person who is a member of Cozens-Hardy LLP and shall not be construed as indicating that the members of Cozens-Hardy LLP are carrying on business in partnership within the meaning of the Partnership Act 1890. A full list of the members of Cozens-Hardy LLP all of whom are solicitors is available for inspection at the registered office.
As a client you will enter into a contract with Cozens-Hardy LLP to carry out legal work on your behalf. As a limited liability partnership Cozens-Hardy LLP is a separate legal entity and its members and employees are not personally liable for the work they do for you and the advice they provide. Legal work is done and advice provided to you only on behalf of Cozens-Hardy LLP, which has in force professional negligence insurance in respect of risks and claims arising from that work and advice. That insurance is worldwide in scope and is provided by Zurich Insurance plc who can be contacted at The London Underwriting Centre, 3 Minster Court, Mincing Lane, London EC3R 7DD.

Insurance mediation services
Cozens-Hardy LLP is not authorised by the Financial Services Authority. However we are included on the register maintained by the Financial Services Authority so that we can carry on insurance mediation activity, which is broadly the advising on, selling and administration of general insurance contracts. This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints or redress if something goes wrong, is regulated by The Solicitors Regulation Authority.
