Running in Support of Big C

In the weeks leading up to this year's City of Norwich Half Marathon, which takes place on Sunday 30th November, participants are preparing themselves for what is hopefully going to be another excellent fundraising event for Big C, Norfolk & Waveyney's local cancer charity. As well as individuals, teams from businesses across the county will be taking part. One such team, who also entered last year and raised £1117 for Big C, is from solicitors Cozens-Hardy LLP.

Philippa Rudd, Principal at Cozens-Hardy LLP, who has just returned from successfully running the New York Marathon, said "Cozens-Hardy is so pleased to be supporting Big C again this year. Big C is a small, local charity doing really big things and, as a local firm of solicitors, we know that our support makes a real difference in the region. Everyone in the firm has really come together to support our team entry in the City of Norwich Half Marathon and it's been a huge help that Sharon from the Big C came to our offices recently to explain how the money is spent. Everyone's life is touched by cancer in some way and we will be running our socks off on 30th November to ensure that Cozens-Hardy raises as much money as possible for this terrific local cancer charity".

Big C delivers services & funding across the whole spectrum of the fight against cancer. We provide funding for research and clinical services and run a purpose built centre providing support, information and counselling for those affected by cancer.
