Successful Sunny Norwich Food & Drink Festival!

Over 7,000 people enjoyed the Norwich Food & Drink Festival on Sunday, an event which the firm has sponsored so successfully for the past three years.

Festival visitors were able to enjoy some of the finest locally produced food and drink, with 45 stalls and a variety of street food vendors lined up outside the Forum and City Hall. There were cookery demonstrations by local chefs running all day (including Great British Bake Off 2016 contestant Kate Barmby), as well as live music and a festival pop-up bar. The ever popular Battle of the Bangers saw eight local butchers handing out free samples of their sausages to members of the public, with a public and judges' vote at the end of the day.

But on one of the hottest days of the year, arguably the biggest crowd-puller was our 'Splat The Dad' stand, where children were encouraged to throw wet sponges at their fathers, to celebrate Fathers' Day, of course! We were really pleased to work with the aptly-named Creative Sponge marketing agency on this project. We were also thrilled to be invited to take part in Radio Norfolk's popular Sunday morning feature 'Treasure Quest'. Pictured in the photo from left to right are: Anna Farquharson (partner), Philippa Rudd (partner), David Whiteley (BBC Radio Norfolk) and Clare Roberts (solicitor) - David had to be 'splatted' for his co-presenter to secure the treasure!
