Introducing our new trainee solicitor, Juliet Farrington-Breeze...

Hi all!

I’m Juliet, a new trainee solicitor at Cozens-Hardy. Although it is not often I am stumped for words, when it comes to writing about myself I’m sat here thinking ‘what can I say!?’, so here’s just a little bit about me:

I was brought up in Norfolk and went to school in Norwich before moving away to study law at Oxford Brookes University. I joined the Lacrosse society and thoroughly enjoyed the social aspect of being able to interact with lots of different sport teams. I studied my Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Cambridge where I found the more practical aspect of law really interesting.

During university I particularly enjoyed studying Family Law and I hope to be able to learn more about this area of law during my Training Contract. I am currently in the residential conveyancing department and with all the team at Cozens-Hardy being so supportive I am really enjoying learning lots of new things and taking on the challenge.

In my spare time I volunteer as an Appropriate Adult at a police station in Norfolk. This not only enables me to help out a great scheme but also lets me experience something I wouldn’t usually be able to do. I go to a few gym classes a week but my particular favourite is ‘power hoop’ where you hula hoop for an hour (whilst trying to stay alive). Other than that my Border Collie, Cody, insists on taking up a lot of my attention.

I am really excited about what’s to come throughout my Training Contract and getting to experience different departments whilst working with more of the Cozens-Hardy team. Hopefully you’ll hear a lot more from me soon!
