Alistair was educated at Norwich School and studied law at Reading University and Guildford Law School. Alistair joined the firm in 1978 as a trainee solicitor, qualifying in 1980 and becoming a principal in 1984. His particular areas of expertise are capital tax planning, trusts, charities, partnerships (particularly farm partnerships), and complex or disputed estates.
