Trainee Solicitors
We take both law and non-law graduates as trainee solicitors. You will spend up to 18 months in the department to which you have been recruited as a trainee solicitor. The balance of your training will be with another department(s), to be agreed with you and subject to the training meeting the Solicitors Regulation Authority requirements for your training contract.
The qualities we look for in trainees are academic excellence, sound judgment and the ability to get on well with both clients and colleagues. At an early stage in your training you will have client contact and be expected to accept responsibility for your own work, although this will be under qualified supervision.
