Court of Protection

If a person loses the ability to manage his or her affairs and has not appointed an Attorney under an Enduring Power of Attorney, or a Lasting Power of Attorney, then it may well be necessary to apply to the Court of Protection for a Receiver, often a family member, to be appointed to deal with that person's finances. We can advise and guide the family and prospective Receiver through the appointment process and also help with the subsequent administration of the person's affairs.
