Michelle Collins

Principal (Partner)

Michelle is a Principal Solicitor in our private client team, where she heads a team of nine specialising in estate planning, Wills, trusts, Powers of Attorney (including Court of Protection work) and probate work. Michelle is also able to advise on all Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and income tax matters.

Michelle gained the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners' TEP accreditation in August 2014. This is the only widely recognised mark for professionals in the trust and estate administration industry.

A recent client, after Michelle had dealt with his mother’s estate, commented that she had:

  • Dealing with the Court of Protection on Deputyship matters. Ranging from submitting applications to the Court of Protection for the original Deputyship order and any subsequent applications that are needed for individuals who no longer have capacity to manage their own affairs

  • Family disputes in relation to Wills

  • Estate Planning, both through Wills and during one’s lifetime
