Colin joins the firm as Senior Associate, Head of Commercial Litigation.

He qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and worked his way up to be Litigation Partner and Head of Employment Law at a reputable Suffolk firm. After a break from the law to bring up his three children, Colin was again Litigation Partner at a large regional firm and was later an Associate at another commercial practice. 

Colin is also a qualified teacher and was Head of Biology at a Suffolk secondary school. Colin has a special interest in neurodivergence and has made this the subject of his PhD at the University of East Anglia.  

He represents both adults and children who face discrimination or a lack of support due to their condition.

When not at work, Colin enjoys time with his children, occupying his attention alongside the nine motorbikes he has at home. Colin is a musician and has played in a number of bands, loves to teach music and has his own guitar tuition website.

Key Achievements

  • Colin successfully represented a number of television reporters in a case of age and sex discrimination. He regularly appears in both court and tribunal representing his clients and fighting for the best result possible for them. Colin successfully took a mortgage repossession case to the Court of Appeal which later settled.

  • Aside from the legal profession, Colin is working towards a PhD in Education from the University of East Anglia and has an MA from the Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln.

  • He has also had his education research published in a respected peer-reviewed journal.
