Solicitor Naomi Newell voted Junior Lawyer of the Year

The Norfolk & Norwich Law Society recently held its annual dinner and excellence awards, which saw over 300 guests from the local legal community congregating at the Open venue in Norwich city centre.

Naomi Newell, a solicitor in our litigation department, was shortlisted for the ‘Junior Lawyer of the Year’ award alongside two other junior solicitors at other local firms Clapham & Collinge and Mills & Reeve.  Naomi attended the dinner with Caroline Linsdell, training partner and commercial property specialist, and Jane Anderson, senior partner and family law specialist, along with Claire Roberts and Georgie Harrington, other junior lawyers in our private client and conveyancing teams.

We are delighted and proud to confirm that the Norfolk & Norwich Law Society board crowned Naomi as their Junior Lawyer of the Year.

Naomi was recognised by the board for her pro bono work in the local community throughout her undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia, continuing onto her voluntary contribution to the Norfolk Community Law Service’s general legal advice rota.  Naomi also speaks at local high schools to promote the profession and higher education, volunteering her time outside work hours to mentor students interested in a legal career.

Congratulations Naomi!
