New partner announcement

Cozens-Hardy is delighted to confirm the promotion of Claire Nelson from associate to partner in the firm’s highly respected private client department.

Claire has been with the firm since 2014 when she joined as a trainee solicitor. Having qualified as a solicitor two years later, she was promoted to associate in 2019. Claire has extensive experience in all aspects of private client work and recently qualified as a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP).

“We are delighted that Claire is joining the partnership,” commented Jane Anderson, senior partner. “She is a fantastic lawyer with an excellent academic record, having recently completed her STEP qualification with outstanding results. Claire is popular with both clients and colleagues and she will be a great asset to the firm, both now and in years to come.”

A graduate of the UEA law school, Claire’s areas of expertise include will drafting, lasting powers of attorney, declarations of trust, dealing with the administration of estates, setting up trusts and inheritance tax planning.
